Installation of the
control panel
When using control
panels which are spe-
cific to the vehicle or the
manufacturer, the electrical
connection must be estab-
lished in accordance with the
Truma interface descriptions.
Any modification made to the
Truma components pertain-
ing to this will lead to the in-
validation of the guarantee,
as well as to the exclusion of
any claims for liability. The in-
staller (manufacturer) is re-
sponsible for providing in-
structions for use for the user
as well as for identification
printing on the control panels.
When selecting the location,
observe the fact that the con-
trol panel (20) is not to be ex-
posed to direct heat radia-
tion. The length of the con-
necting cable is 2.5 m.
If it is not possible to in-
stal the control panels
flush with the surface, Truma
can provide a surface-mount-
ing frame (18) on request, as
a special accessory (Art. no.
40000-52600).

eter. Feed the cable (19)
through to the back and se-
cure the control panel (20)
with four screws (21). Then fit
the cover frame (22) on and
lay the cable (19) to the boiler
unit.
To round off the ap-
pearance of the cover
frame, Truma can provide
side pieces (23) as special
accessories in 8 different
colours (please ask your
dealer).
Electrical
connection 230 V
The electrical connec-
tion is only to be car-
ried out by an expert (in Ger-
many in accordance with
VDE 0100, Part 721).
The instructions specified
here are to assist the expert
when carrying out the instal-
lation order and are not in-
tended for the layman!
Connection to the mains is
effected by means of the ca-
ble, 3 x 1.5 mm
2
(e.g. hose
line HO5VV-F) to a distribu-
tion socket (fig. A + B: 24 –
not included in the scope of
supply). A connection cable
with a mains plug os not per-
missible.
Always pay attention to use
the correct colour code!
For maintenance or repair
work there must be a discon-
necting device on the vehicle
for all-pole disconnection
from the mains with a mini-
mum contact gap of 3 mm.
Figs. A + B: Attach distribu-
tion box (24) to floor or wall
of vehicle near device (cable
length 110 cm).
Connect the control panel ca-
ble, 230 V lead, and heating
element cable as shown in
the circuit diagram.

Function check

The water connections must
be checked for leaks and all
functions must be tested as
described in the operating in-
structions after installation.
Then it must be ensured that
all of the water (14 litres)
drains when the system is
emptied.
There shall be no claims
under guarantee for dam-
age caused by frost!

Warning information

The yellow sticker with the
warning information, which is
enclosed with the appliance,
must be affixed by the in-
staller or vehicle owner to a
place in the vehicle where it
is clearly visible to all users
(e.g. on the wardrobe door)!
Ask Truma to send you a
sticker, if necessary.
