General Instructions
Please read through the entire
instructions for use carefully.
They contain important
information concerning the
product itself, as well as its
handling, maintenance and
disposal.
Keep the instructions for use. You
may wish to read them again at a
later point in time.
If you have any questions, please

Compression therapy aids
include, among other items,
medical compression stockings
which are manufactured in
different lengths, compression
classes and with different
knitting methods. Compression
stockings are used for a variety of
purposes, including* treating
venous disorders and conditions
and for treating oedema caused
by lymphoedema and lipoedema.
Donning and doffing aids protect and

preserve the stocking material and make it
easier to put on and take off medical
compression stockings. In particular, they
also enable patients with limited mobility
to use the products by reducing the amount
of motion and force needed to put them on
and take them off.

Purpose and use
Donning aid for medical/clinical
compression sleeves.
Indications for donning and
doffing aids include
• Hemiplegia
• Loss of power due to age
• Osteoarthritis/rheumatism
• Morbid obesity
• Extensive spinal/hip/knee
stiffness
• Degenerative condition of the
hands/related to the hands
• Sequellae from injuries/
amputations

Contraindications
No contraindications are known.
Important general instructions
Ensure that your skin is smooth
and unbroken and that your
hands and nails are clean and
well-cared for in order to avoid
causing injuries or damage to the
delicate fabric.
Please dispose of this product as
soon as it shows signs of wear or
damage.
Storage instructions
Please store the medi Arm Butler
in a dry place and keep it out of
direct sunlight.
How do you put on your
compression sleeve using the
medi Arm Butler?
Tip: Use the medi fabric gloves or
rubber gloves (Fig. 1).
Place the medi Arm Butler on a
table (Fig. 2).
