Fueling
Fuel and oil mixture
Fuel: The engine of your brushcutter is a high-
performance 2 cycle engine requiring the use
of a fuel-oil mixture. The engine can also
available from trade stores.
Important: Lead-free regular gasoline, lead-free
Euro-gasoline or Super unleaded may be used
(minimum octane count 92 ROZ).
Ratio: We recommend a gasoline/oil of 50:1
(2,0 %) when using the 2-cycle oil "Castrol
Super TT".
If other premium 2-cycle oils are used we
recommend a gasoline/oil ratio of 25 : 1 ( 4 %).
Tip: Do not store fuel mixture for longer than 3
to 4 weeks.

Initial starting instructions
For the first 5 tank fillings, avoid excessive speed
without load. Also when using standard 2-cycle
oil we recommend a ratio of 25 : 1 (4 %).
Starting and shutting off engine
Attention
For safety reasons please start engine
only in "idle" position.
Cold start / first start
Close choke (A4) with
choke lever.
Push Primer (A5) several times until gasoline is
visible in the bulb and resistance is felt.
Note: Always press the decompression valve
button (A7) before each attempt to start the
brushcutter.

is felt, and then quickly and forcefully pull
through until the engine starts.
Immediately put choke (A4) into
the run position! "Open choke
lever" and continue starting.
Caution! If the engine does not start
in spite of several starting attempts, it
may be flooded.
Flooding may be corrected by removing and
drying the spark plug. Move the switch to "stop"
and the throttle lever to full-throttle. Pull the
starter grip (with spark plug removed) several
times in order to clear cylinder. Replace spark
plug.
Repeat starting procedure.

after brief cut-off
Leave choke open and start engine.
Shutting off engine
Move switch (2, illustration 27) to stop position
by pushing up slide stop switch.
Caution! Cutter may briefly continue
to turn!
