h) Inserting the receiver
Just like the flight control, the receiver (1) is also attached
with the double-sided adhesive foam rubber pad on the
rear end of the chassis floor plate.
Excessively long servo cables are looped and attached
with cable clips (2) next to the receiver on the chassis.
The receiver antenna (3) is guided through an antenna
tube (4), which is slid through two eyelets on the inside of
the skid tracks. The antenna wire must be installed in such
a way that the cabin hood can be attached effortlessly.
Make sure that the end of the antenna (5) does not
protrude into the main or the tail rotor.
Attention!
When installing the cables, make sure that none of them are subjected to mechanical strain and that all
cables are tightly installed on the chassis. In case the cables are installed too loosely, there is a risk that
the cables are worn through or protrude into the mechanics.
i) Installing the flight accumulator
For operating the model, we recommend a 3-cell LiPo
accumulator with approx. 2000-2500 mAh. This
accumulator fits the model both with respect to weight and
performance.
First stick the enclosed rubber pad (1) onto the slanted
accumulator base.
Attention important!
When attaching the accumulator (2), make sure that it does
not come into contact with the top edge of the motor and
becomes damaged in later flight operation.
You can fix the accumulator in place with rubber rings or
the enclosed strips of Velcro (3).
