SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• This product has been specially developed for the purpose of balancing on it.
• The liability of the manufacturer and seller is excluded for any other improper
use of the product. No liability will be accepted for any bodily, consequential, or
incidental damages arising from the use of this product. No liability will in par-
ticular also be accepted for any damages on the selected sling points.
• The slackline is a sophisticated sports equipment and may only be used with
great care. The slackline is not a toy! It always has to be fully assembled as
specified prior to use.
• During the assembling, it has to be ensured that the slackline is only fastened
on a solid, level, obstacle-free surface and not over water. It is thereby reco-
mended that one thereby selects as a shock absorption for the impact surface,
soft ground such as grass or sand and lays mats underneath the impact sur-
face, in order to prevent injuries in case one loses balance and falls.
• The slackline/ratchet should only be tensioned with manual force. Extensions
or other aids for tensioning are not allowed.
• Always use the enclosed tree protection devices to avoid damage to the mate-
rial and to the sling points.
• The slackline should never be tensioned by means of cars or other aids, be-
cause the initial tension may be uncontrollably high.
• The slackline has a very high tension in the assembled state, whereby forces of
up to 1000 kg may occur. For this reason, the product has to be used with great
caution. Careless, excessive movement can lead to falls and injuries.
• The slackline may only be used by a maximum of one person, several people
may not concomitantly use the line.
• Please note that the use of slacklines is prohibited in some public park facili-
ties!
• Pay attention to a sufficent safety area. Sufficient headroom is essential. A mi-
nimum free space of 2 m above the product is recommended. Remove wires,
branches and other potential hazards. Free space for horizontal movement is
also essential. Maintain a free space of about 2 m around the product. Barriers
have to be removed. The fall space has to be free of parts against which one
can get hurt. Other people who are present should keep a safe distance of at
least 2 m during the use of the product. Risk of injury.
• Only exclusively use the original parts of the complete set for the assembly.
• The ratchet of the set has to be used with caution and should not be used by
children. Risk of entrapment.
All images are examples of the design.
• The slackline should not be tensioned by more than 2,5 turns on the ratchet.
• The lever operation should not exceed the maximum load of 400N (40 kg).
Higher loads can lead to jamming of the system.
• The maximum effective height is 50 cm, i.e. this set should under no circum-
stances be assembled higher than 50 cm above the ground. We recommend a
handbreadth below the crotch height of the user, insofar as the crotch height
does not exceed 50 cm. Pay attention to this height in the event of a change of
the user, in order to prevent injuries and falls.
• The slackline should not be left unattended in public/traffic areas with a safety
obligation. It may only be used by children under adult supervision. Disassem-
ble the slackline, if it is not in use.
• The slackline has to be kept out of reach of children.
• That product has always to be kept clean and dry when used.
• No artistic jumps or somersaults may be performed on the product. Risk of in-
jury.
• When using the product, the ratchet cover always has to be pulled over the
ratchet.
• Do not use the product in bad weather conditions such as storms, thunder-
storms, rain, etc., and not in poor visibility conditions (twilight, darkness, etc.).
• Wear suitable clothing. Empty your pockets before using the slackline.
• Do not use the product if you under the influence of alcohol/medication or drugs
or if you exhausted. You should immediately end the use of the slackline if you
feel unwell or if you get dizzy.
• The owner of the product as well as the competent supervisory personnel are
responsible for ensuring that all users are informed about the warnings speci-
fied in this instruction manual.
• The parts of the slackline system should be replaced, depending on the sto-
rage, usage and frequency of use after about 4 years. In case of doubt with
regard to safety, the set should be replaced immediately.
• When permanently irradiated with UV light, the material ages significantly fas-
ter. To avoid premature aging and thereby extend the service life, you should
always store the product in a dry and dark place when not in use. Do not per-
manently expose the product to wind, moisture, extreme temperatures or sun-
light.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY
Locate a suitable site to fasten the slackline. In order to avoid damage to the
material, the slackline should only be tensioned over the sling points that have a
minimum diameter of 30 cm (about 100 cm circumference) and a maximum cir-
cumference of 170 cm. In the case of different fastening solutions (trees, posts,
etc.) it has to be ensured that loads of up to 12000 N can be endured. The sling
points should moreover not be damaged by the loads. In order to avoid damage to
trees, you should use the enclosed tree protection devices and only tension the
line around healthy trees. The tree protection devices can also be used on concre-
te, stone or square poles, in order to povide the slackline with appropriate edge
protection.
1. Always fasten the tree protection devices using the hook and loop fasteners at
a suitable position to the selected sling points. Wrap the line with the ratchet
unturned around the tree protection device (Fig. 2).
2. Thread the ratchet through the loop and form a loop. Ensure that the ratchet
does not hang too far in the use zone. This occurs when the diameter of the
attachment point is too small. You should in such cases use a new sling point.
(Fig. 3).
3. You should as in the case of the line with the ratchet, wrap the slackline untur-
ned at the selected height around the tree protection device, at the other point
of attachment (Fig. 4). Thread this line through the protected attachment loop
and as such form a sling. In order to ensure that the line rotates in the horizon-
tal plane, fold the line through the sling. Ensure that the strap is horizontal. For
the purpose of simple and safe use, the tension lever of the ratchet should be
down.
4. Now connect the ratchet with the line. Release the ratchet and open it (Pull the
small lever/safety catch (B) in the tension lever - Fig. 5).
