2. General information

This hand-held measuring instrument provides you with a thermo-
hygrometer, a laser-pyrometer or a combination of the two
depending on the application mode.
The measuring instrument can be operated in three
different modes:
In the TH mode the measuring instrument offers you all the functions
of an electronic thermohygrometer.
In the IR mode you can use the measuring instrument as a laser-
pyrometer for surface temperature measurement with measurement
location marking.
In the DP mode the measuring instrument unites the functions of a
thermohygrometer with those of a pyrometer and at the same time
indicates the dewpoint temperature and surface temperature.
As soon as the surface temperature is below the dewpoint tempera-
ture, the measuring instrument alerts the user with an optical laser
signal and an alarm tone.
Surfaces can be examined in no time and weakpoints detected
quickly with this alarm function.
The alarm thresholds are individually configurable.
