5.4 Connecting the System

- Connect the green RS-485 D+ line from the Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera to D+ of the
Remote control box or RS-232 to RS-485 converter (if you are using DIGIPROTECT).
- Proceed the same for connecting the red RS-485 D- line with the "-"input.
- Make the settings for ID number, Protocol and Baud Rate.
- Connect the BNC output from the Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera with the BNC input of
the monitor or DVR.
- Connect the power supply.

6. Operation Descriptions

6.1 Start-up Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome

After connecting all necessary cables, start-up the Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera.
The camera will return to the initial setup position, meaning that the device is in stand
by mode. When power-cut or power-failure occurs while the Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome
camera is in Preset Auto Pan mode, the system will automatically continue the Auto
Pan function after power recovers.

6.2 Connection Search

As soon as the Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera is in stand by mode, the controller
(Remote Control, Keyboard or DIGIPROTECT software) needs to search the connection
and detect the number of Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome cameras that have been connected.
Press [0] button and then [ENTER] button on the Remote control, the Receiver Box will
auto re-start connection search. When the system connection is successful the Receiver
Box will send out one short beep, when failure (unable to detect the device), it will send
out one long and three short beeps.

6.3 Switching Cameras

To control the desired Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera it has to be selected.
Use the number buttons [1] - [9], except [0] and the [ENTER] button to select the
desired Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera. The number entered does not have direct
relations with the ID. Number [1] represents the lowest Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome camera
ID number [2] represents the second lowest ID number and so on.
Example: To select the highest Eyseo Pan / Tilt dome ID number, press button: [9] and
[ENTER].
