The MTG 400i K4 and MTW 500i K4
fume extraction torches detect the
harmful welding fumes that develop
during welding, right at the point of
origin.
The welding fumes are extracted befo-
re they reach the welder's breathing
zone.
This ensures the legally prescribed va-
lues for the maximum allowable con-
centrations (MAC) remain below or at
the required levels.
The Up/Down torch has the following
functions:
- Changing the welding power in
synergic operation by means of up/
down buttons
- Error display:
- in the event of a system error,
all the LEDs turn red
- in the event of a data commu-
nication error, all the LEDs
flash red.
- Self-testing in the start-up se-
quence:
- all the LEDs briefly light up in
succession.
