charge the integral rechargeable battery. The integral rechargeable battery is per-
manently installed in the base of the product.
Note: Charge the product for approximately 12 hours before first use.
Note: Charge the product at least once a month, if it is to remain unused for an
extended period of time.
Note: If the product has not been charged for an extended period of time (approx.
2 months), you could find that the integral rechargeable battery has entered a dor-
mant state. Charge and discharge the product a number of times in succession to
reactivate the integral rechargeable battery.
Before charging, switch the torch

Note: When charging from a cigarette lighter socket, the car adapter
always be fully inserted into the cigarette lighter socket of the vehicle. Otherwise
there is the danger of fire through overheating.
I nsert the mains adapter into a mains socket or insert the car adapter into the
cigarette lighter socket in your vehicle.
Note: The product is fitted with an overcharge protection circuit. Despite this,
you should disconnect the product from the power supply after the charging
process is complete.
Note: During charging, the charging control light
charging is complete, the charging control light lights up green. When the
charging control light is green, pull the mains adapter out of the socket or the
car adapter from the cigarette lighter socket. Disconnect the mains adapter from
the product to prevent the rechargeable battery from discharging.

CAUTION – RISK OF ACCIDENT! If at all possible, do not use the product
in a moving vehicle. If the product is used in a vehicle, it must not be allowed to en-
danger the safety of the driver or passengers. Always store and secure the product
in such a way that there is no risk of injury from or damage to the product, even
during full braking.
Note: The product features a magnetic foot
sufficiently magnetisable to carry the weight of the product, before you use the
magnetic foot.

F ully charge the product as described in the section "Charging the product".

T o switch on the LED inspection lamp

T o switch off the LED inspection lamp, push the torch and the lamp body back
together again, using the handle (see Fig. A).

Corded use of the product

U se the included mains adapter
