SLOWING DOWN
If any recoils of the gate are noted when passing from normal to a lower speed on an installation where the slowdown function is
used, the mode of passage may be changed as follows:
A - cut off the power supply
B - press the pushbuttons PP and STOP on the control unit simultaneously (parts 6 and 7 of fig. 1)
C - reconnect to the power supply, keeping the buttons pressed.
D - the LED L1 (part 17 of fig. 1) gives a short signal that the passage is successful.
To return to the initial configuration, simply repeat the above procedure.
PROGRAMMING THE DECELERATION ZONES
To set deceleration zones different from the default zones, proceed as follows.
- during opening, when programming the gate stroke, press the P/P button in the point where you wish the deceleration to start. The
gate stops for a moment then restarts and completes its opening stroke.
- during closing, (after the pause time, in the gate stroke programming procedure), press the P/P button in the point where you wish
the gate to start to slow down.
ENHANCED DECELERATION
Unit T101 allows you to choose from two types of deceleration:
1) Normal deceleration
2) Enhanced deceleration for heavy automations.
Procedure for changing the type of deceleration:
- disconnect the power supply to the control unit
- re-power the unit by pressing and holding down the STOP/PROG. button (det. 6 fig. 1).
- after 3 seconds Led L1 lights up (det. 17 fig. 1)
- while holding down the STOP/PROG. button, set dip-switch 9 from Off to On (if the dip-switch is already set to ON, turn it to Off and
then back to On)
- Led L1 will start flashing
- quick flashes mean enhanced deceleration
- slow flashes mean normal deceleration (factory setting).
After making your selection, release the STOP/PROG. button; the control unit will memorize and start the normal operating mode.
PROGRAMMING THE PAUSE TIME
Procedure for modifying the pause time entered during previous programming.
This operation must be carried out with the gate closed.
1) Press the PROG button (6 in fig. 1) and hold it down until the LED LD1 (17, fig. 1) remains constantly on.
2) Press the PROG button again; LED LD1 starts to blink and the control unit starts to memorise the pause time.
3) Press the PROG button again at the end of the pause time required. LED LD1 goes out and the procedure ends.
