Everest printer switches
There are two switches on the rear of the
Everest printer: the mode switch and the AC
voltage switch.
Mode switch
Important! Power off the Everest printer before you change the mode switch.
The mode switch is a rotary switch used to set the operational mode of the Everest printer. The printer must be
powered off for the mode to be changed. After changing the mode, the printer must be powered on again to
recognize the change. The opening at the base of the cap on the switch indicates the selected mode. The printer
comes set in regular operation mode. Only diagnostic mode requires changing the mode switch.
Mode Switch positions
Tip: The Everest III ships with the mode switch set to 2. When the printer is set up, it senses whether it is
attached to an Autoloader or AutoPrinter and adjusts appropriately. You need to change the Mode Switch
position only in the following situations:
- When operating the Everest III as a standalone printer (without an autoloader or AutoPrinter). Use 0.
- When running Diagnostic tests. Use 3.
