The power switch
Turning the [POWER] switch to the OFF position will turn the receiver OFF, but it will not
interrupt the flow of current. (The [POWER] indicator being off does not necessarily
mean that there is no power going through the receiver.) Remove the power cord from
the power outlet to completely break off the flow of current to the receiver.
Power
The receiver uses AC 120 V (60 Hz) power. Connect the receiver to an enough capacity
power source.
Connect the power cord to the power source in one of the following ways.
Install the receiver near the electric outlet, allowing for easy access to the power plug.
Connect it to a breaker panel with at least 3.00 mm (1/8 inches) of space between
contacts. Use a breaker which can cut off power from all poles except the protective
ground connection.
Microphone remaining battery level indication
When the distance between the microphone and the antenna is too far, the signal
reception becomes unstable so that microphone remaining battery level may not be
obtained. Keep the proper distance to ensure a stable wireless connection when using
the remaining battery level indication function. Also read "Antenna field selection" (page
36) about the distance (wireless reach) between the microphone and the antenna.
When turning the power switch to ON or OFF
All connected peripheral devices and power amplifiers have to be turned OFF before the
power switch operation. Failing to do so may cause a clicking noise which could
potentially damage the speakers or other peripheral devices.
