Cleaning and checking the backwater preventer (Cast iron fitting)

Remove backwater preventer:
• Undo the screws (1)
• Take the cover (2) off
• Pull the backwater preventer (3) out
• Clean the backwater preventer and check for damage
• Assemble the parts again in reverse order
• Install the wastewater pump(s) again (see chapter 4.1)
• Carry out a functional check (see 4.7.2)
The pumping station is clean and ready for operation again
