6.3 Maintenance preparation
– Make sure that the inlet to the pumping station is not used during maintenance work.
– Make sure that the pumping station cannot be switched on accidentally during maintenance work. This
applies in particular if the control unit is in a different room to the system tank.
6.4 Maintenance tasks
6.4.1 Cleaning the pumping station
• Lower the wastewater level in the system tank to a minimum. To do this, switch on the wastewater pump
until the pump draws in air (see 4.6)
• Switch the system off (switch the main switch off or remove the mains plug), secure against being switched
back on again.
Cleaning the wastewater pump
• Remove the wastewater pump; to do this, pull the pump <1>
slowly upwards and out of the chamber by the pump
chain <2>
• Make sure that the wastewater pump intake is free from
suspended matter and solids, clean if necessary.
