Cleaning and checking the backwater preventer (Polymer fitting)
Notice: The backwater preventer is subject to wear when in frequent use. We recommend checks and periodic
exchange of the backwater preventer to ensure improved dependability.
•
Bring the ventilation device <24A> on the backwater preventer <25> into a horizontal position, the dammed
up wastewater can flow back from the pressure pipe into the system tank
• Remove and clean the backwater preventer <25>. To do do, unscrew screws <1A> and <1B>
and push out the backwater preventer <25> from the side and clean, herefore:
• Place backflow preventer on its head.
• Remove safety <24B>
• Remove and if necessarily exchange backwater preventer flap.
• Re-insert safety <24B>

• Fit the backwater preventer <25> again. Make sure that the
ventilation device <24A> is in a vertical position as shown
