The cooktop should have been ordered
for connection to either natural or LP
(propane) gas.
The included regulator corresponds
with the gas type of the cooktop. Verify
before installing. See, "To convert the
regulator".
If the appliance is to be connected to a
type of gas other than it was originally
configured for, both the regulator and
burners must be converted.

installed by a qualified technician
in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions and
all applicable local and national
codes. If the information in these

installation of this kit. The
installation is not proper and
complete until the operation of the

Converting CS 1011
To convert the regulator:
^ Unscrew the hexagonal nut (brass
cap) located on the top of the
regulator.
^ Make sure that the spring stays in
place.
^ Take the plastic insert out and flip it
over.
The plastic insert is marked on either
end:
- NAT (Natural Gas)
- LP (Propane)
^ Set the plastic insert back into the
nut.
^ Screw the hexagonal nut back on the
regulator.
