Filling with oil (27, 28)
IMPORTANT!
Danger of engine damage!
The engine is delivered without oil. The
engine will be destroyed if it is operated
without oil.

The engine must be filled with oil be-
fore initial start-up. Comply with the
instructions from the engine manu-
facturer in this regard.
NOTE
Do not overfill the engine! Refer to the
operating instructions from the engine
manufacturer for details of correct mea-
surement of the oil level.
Also make sure the oil level is checked at regular
intervals and the oil is topped up if necessary.
Use a suitable funnel or a filler pipe when filling
the oil so that no oil is spilled on the engine, the
housing or the ground.
1. Fold the seat forward and open cover (27/1)
of the engine compartment (27/a).
2. Unscrew the cap (28/1) of the oil filler neck.
3. Fill with oil until the oil level can be seen be-
tween the MIN and MAX markings of the dip-
stick.
4. Screw the cap back on the oil filler neck.
5. Close the engine compartment cover and fold
the seat back (27).

Filling with fuel (27, 29)
WARNING!
Danger of explosion and fire
Escaping fuel will create an explosive
petrol/air mixture. Deflagration, explo-
sion and fire can lead to serious and
even fatal injuries if fuel is not handled
properly.

Fill the fuel tank only outdoors and
not with the engine running or hot.
■
Do not smoke when handling fuel.
Use a suitable funnel or a filler pipe when refuel-
ling so that no fuel is spilled on the engine, the
deck or the ground.
For safety reasons, the fuel tank cap and other
tank caps must be renewed if damaged.
Do not start the engine if the fuel has overflowed.

ea contaminated by fuel, and the spilled fuel must
be absorbed and wiped away from the ground,
the engine and the deck using a cloth.
Do not make any attempt to start the machine un-
til fuel vapours have evaporated.
Only keep the fuel in containers intended for this
purpose.
Use lead-free petrol, min. RON 91.

Filling the tank
1. Switch off the engine and remove the ignition
key as a precaution.
2. To reduce the risk of explosions: Wait until
the engine has cooled down.
3. Fold the seat forward and open cover (27/1)
of the engine compartment (27/a).
4. Open tank cap (29/1) and pour fuel into tank
(29/2).
Note: Avoid overfilling the fuel tank!
5. Close the tank cap.
6. Close the engine compartment cover and fold
the seat back (27).
