4. Remove the bearing cap using a 1/8" Allen key,
taking care not to damage the cap.

5. Remove the O-ring and unscrew the three 1/4" nc X
3/4" bolts located at the tip of the main axle and
remove the lock washer.

6. Pull on the assembled structure as straight as possible
to remove from the main axle.

7. Unscrew the four 3/8" nc nuts and the four 3/8" nc
X 2" bolts holding the sprocket to the main axle.
Save all the flat washers for later assembly.
NOTE : Remove the main axle from the hub of the
ATV . Replace any deformed washer.

8. At this stage, you may replace either the sprocket or
the main axle.
9. To reassemble the kit, reverse the steps and torque
1/4" nc bolts to 7 ft-lbs and 3/8" nc bolts to 25 ft-lbs.
WARNING
When you are ready to screw the three 1/4" nc X
3/4" bolts to retain the tightening washer on the top
of the main axle (step 5), make sure that there is no
oily substance present on the threads and apply
Loctite 242 onto the threads before tightening the
bolts. Torque to 7 ft-lbs.
10. Lubricate main axle bearing.
