CLEAN THE AIR FILTER
Frequent cleaning of the
filter ensures greater ope-
rating efficiency.
To remove the filter, lift the
intake panel, push the filter
slightly upwards before with-
drawing in a downward direction.
Check the state of the filter:
if very dirty, carry out cleaning operations
more frequently.
Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner
and with water and neutral detergent
if necessary.
When the filter is clean and dry, fit it
back onto the conditioner, by following the
removal procedures in reverse order.
DURING OPERATION
G The air filter must always be inserted when
the unit is working to avoid the
circulation of the dust insice the
unit.
G Check the state of the outdoor
unit and clean it with water.
G Check if air return and delivery of
the
outdoor
unit
is
Obstacles would cause over-
loads on the compressor and, in
some cases, stop the unit.
AT THE END OF THE SEASON
G If the air conditioner must stay switched
off for long time after it has worked on
cooling mode, let it run for half a day on
ventilation to evaporate the condensate
inside the indoor unit.
If the air conditioner has worked on heating
mode, this operation is not necessary.
G Unplug

and windows of

closed.
G Check if there are too many people
in the room.
G Check if there are unusual heat
sources in the room (iron, vacuum
cleaner, etc.).
G Check if there are obstacles preventing the air to circulate
throughout the outdoor unit.
IT IS NORMAL
G On cooling mode
or on dehumidifi-
cation mode some

mode (heat pump
models) some steam may come out
of the outdoor unit during the defro-
sting cycle.
G A light hiss may be heard by the
indoor unit.
G Air the room from time to time to
avoid smells.
INSTALLATION ENVIRONMENT
G If the outdoor unit is installed in a dusty or polluted environ-
ment, the outdoor coil must be cleaned from time to time,
possibly by technical staff.
G If either the indoor or the outdoor unit should be moved, call
the service.
