OPERATION OF THE AIR CONDITIONER
OPERATION AT FULL POWER
Proceed as follows:
Select, as described earlier, one of the following operating modes:
Automatic, Heating or Cooling.
PRESS THE FULL POWER KEY
The remote control will show the message FULL POWER;
The temperature reading will disappear, in fact during this mode the temperature cannot
be set;
This mode is automatically cancelled after one hour of operation.
PRESS THE FULL POWER KEY to cancel the mode.
TO ADJUST THE AIR FLOW
The air vents by the air delivery are:
– vertical to direct the air flow on a horizontal level;
– horizontal to direct the air flow vertically.
DIRECT THE AIR FLOW HORIZONTALLY
G Turn the vertical louvers as shown in the figure below (two
independent sets of louvers and two levers, each controlling
one set of louvers).
G The air flow should never be directed against the people,
either in heating or cooling mode.
NEVER ADJUST THE DIRECTION OF AIR FLOW
VERTICALLY BY HAND
G THE HORIZONTAL AIR DEFLECTOR IS MOTOR-DRIVEN
Any manual movement of the air deflector may damage the
system and cause malfunctions.
In particular, condensation may form on the surface of the
air deflector (cooling or dehumidification mode) with con-
sequent dripping onto the surfaces below.
G HEATING MODE
The air deflector turns 90° approximately.
G COOLING OR DEHUMIDIFICATION MODE
The air deflector turns through a more acute angle to prevent
condensate on its surface.
When the air deflector is stopped (
until it is started again or until the operation mode is changed
(MODE key).
USE OF AUXILIARY CONTROLS (indoor unit)
When the remote control is not readily available, the air conditioner can be controlled through the
auxiliary push button ( AUX ) of in the indoor unit.
G Push the AUX button to switch on the air conditioner (the red led lights up).
G The air conditioner works on automatic mode.
The microprocessor (pag. 20) selects the fan speed, the room temperature and the operation mode.
G It is not possible to change manually any of these functions.
G Push the AUX button to stop the unit (no matter how it has been started, whether through the
AUX button or through the remote control).
