Only tighten the rotary knob
(10) by hand! The use of maxi-
mum manual force will damage the
tubular shaft.

3. Assemble the leg protection for
right-handed users in variant a).
For left-handed users, assemble
the leg protection rotated in vari-
ant b) as per the illustration.
Move the barrier bracket either to
position a) or b) on the mounting
block (24). Insert the screws (22),
each together with a washer
(23), through the aligned holes
and screw the barrier bracket
using the Allen key (25) supplied
to the round handle (11) until it
lies flat against this.
Place the round handle (11) on
the tube. Fold on the counter-
holder (28) of the round handle
and screw it on together with the
large washer (26) with the rotary
knob (27).
The dismantling takes place in reverse
order.
Make sure when mounting the round
handle (11) on the correct position of the
leg protection (19) for right-handed/vari-
ant a) or left-handed/variant b).

gloves when working with the
equipment.
Ensure that the equipment is
functional before each use. The
On/Off switch and the safety
switch must not be held closed.
They must switch off the motor
when on is released. Should
a switch be damaged, stop
working with the equipment.
Ensure that the mains voltage
value matches the label on the
equipment.
Note noise protection and local
specifications. The use of the equip-
ment on certain days (e.g. Sundays
and national holidays), at certain
times of day (lunch times, night time
quiet periods) or in special areas
(e.g. health resorts, clinics etc.) is
restricted or forbidden.

1. Hold the safety blade beam
( A 1) on the handle to adjust
the blade beam (7).
2. Unscrew the stop lever fixing (4)
from the stop lever (5).
3. Unlock the stop lever (5) by
pressing the safety lever (6).
Press simultaneously on the
safety lever (6) and stop lever (5)
to release the safety blade beam
