Location and Connection
Remove all packaging material and keep out of reach of children. After removing
packaging, check the appliance for damage or other signs that could indicate a
fault/defect/malfunction. In case of doubt, do not use the appliance, but contact your
vendor for inspection or replacement.
Choose a suitable location for the heater which is at least one metre away from any
obstructions, walls or inflammable materials (see also safety instructions).
Make sure a functioning heater is always placed on a solid, flat and horizontal surface.
Set-up and Operation
Check to make sure the control knob is set to "Off".
Now insert the plug into a matching 220/240V socket.
Set the control knob to "Sound". Now you can use the Blue Tooth link and the USB
connection.
Turn the control knob further to "Fan". The appliance will start blowing air. The Blue
Tooth and USB can still be used.
Turn the control knob further to "Heat". The appliance will now blow hot air. The Blue
Tooth and USB can still be used.
To switch the heater off, turn the control knob back to "Off". Finally remove the plug from
the socket.
Power control
The heater has internal PTC elements which are heated up. The fan conducts cool air over
the elements and blows the heated air out again. By not continually heating the elements, but
switching on and off, optimal use is made of the absorbed energy. When switched off, the
temperature of the hot air that is blown out will drop a little, and rise again when switched on.
The heating up frequency can be controlled with the power control: turning it fully clockwise
will bring it into the yellow area and the heater will switch on at minimum power. Turning it
anti-clockwise will bring it into the red area, with maximum activation.
When the elements are being heated up, the lamp behind the power control will flash, when
idle it will burn continuously.
USB charging point
The USB charging point can be used for charging an appliance with a USB plug. To do this,
the control knob must be set to "Sound", "Fan" or "Heat".
Blue Tooth
With the Blue Tooth, you can connect a mobile phone, laptop etc. to the Heat-Boost and play
music on it. Make sure you only connect one appliance at a time to the Heat-Boost! If you do
not succeed in making a connection, check first whether another mobile phone (for instance)
in the vicinity has made a connection.
The Heat-Boost will sound a tone when a connection is made using Blue Tooth.

Safety features
The heater is fitted with a tipping safeguard which automatically shuts off the appliance if it
inadvertently falls over. When the heater is returned to its upright position, it will resume
