After using the MIGHT Y ME-
DIC Vaporizer, do not touch
the Filling Chamber or the Do-
sing Capsule until they have
cooled down again.
8.1. General
Caution!
To avoid a health risk – e.g. in-
fection from a contaminated
Lip Piece, a contaminated Mouthpiece,
or a contaminated Cooling Unit – the
following hygiene instructions must be
followed.
Please note that for different areas
of application different requirements
regarding the hygienic reprocessing
must be observed:
a) Lip Piece
A new Lip Piece has to be used
before each operation. (Exceptions
are stated in Chapter 8.3. "Dispos-
able Lip Piece for Hygienic Use",
page 82).
a) Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece
Pull the power adapter (if it is used)
from the socket and disconnect from
the Vaporizer. Allow the Vaporizer and
the power adapter to cool down before
they are packed away.
8. H Y G I E N E
The Cooling Unit with Mouthpiece
must be cleaned if there is visible
residue (see Chapter 8.5. "Cleaning
of the Cooling Unit with Mouth-
piece", page 85).
b) Both the Cooling Unit with the
Mouthpiece and the Lip Piece may
be used by one person only.
Make sure that the equipment is al-
lowed to dry thoroughly after every
cleaning.
Condensation or residual moisture
may encourage bacterial growth.
Please note the following information
in Chapter 8.2. "Material resistance of
the MIGHT Y MEDIC Vaporizer".
Inspect the component parts of the
Cooling Unit and Mouthpiece regularly
and replace defective (broken, mis-
shapen, discolored) parts.
