 The unit must be installed in an area in the engine compart-
ment which is not affected by splashing water.
 In case of damage to the unit itself, or to the cables, do not
continue using it and have it repaired by a professional.
 Only operate the device at its intended voltage.
 Installation, repairs or other works, such as changing a fuse,
etc. may only be carried out by an appropriately trained, skilled
person.
 Connecting the high-voltage plates with the car body will
cause a short-circuit which will destroy the unit.
 Before undertaking any work in the engine compartment or
before the vehicle is turned over to a repair business, remove
the 1 A micro fuse (3) located in the power cable plus terminal
(5). To do so, just turn and disconnect the fuse holder. After
removing the fuse, the remaining high voltage will drain within
60 seconds.
 Never disassemble the unit and do not try to repair it yourself.
It does not contain parts serviceable by you.
