For all servicing operations in the power-source outside the points mentioned above :

CAUSE
WELDING CURRENT REMAINS MINIMUM
WELDING CURRENT TOO HIGH
WELDING CURRENT REMAINS
DIFFICULT ARC STRIKING
CALL IN A SPECIALISED TECHNICIAN
REMEDY
Check for AC voltage between pins 16 and 12. If not,
wait for generator to cool down.
Check potentiometer. Ohmmeter position of
multimeter, potentiometer resistance should vary
Ω
from 0 to 60 .
Check for dc voltage between pins 22 and 23 for
SAFEX C2.
Check as in 2.

Check that as voltages at terminals of 3 transducer
phases are identical.
Check power diodes on-by-one.
Check the network voltage and power-source
coupling.
