4 Installation
4.1 Safety instructions regarding EMC
Caution
Interference caused by electromagnetic influences can
falsify the measured results and simulate incorrect
positions.
• Observe the following installation instructions in
order to avoid interference caused by electromag­
netic influences.
• Use only the original cables.
• Do not extend the cables.
Extending the cables will reduce immunity to interfer­
ence.
• Do not place the cables near or parallel to cables with
high levels of interference.
• Connect the earth connection of the DNCI-... with low
impedance (short cable with large cross-sectional
area) to the earth potential.
4.2 Connecting the PLC
Please note
Use only the original cables (2 or 5 m long):
type SIM-M12-8GD-2/5-PU.
