Instructions for use
6.1 Resetting to status as at delivery
1. Set the reference input (PIN 5 on the S1) and the
calibration input (PIN 6 on the S1) simultaneously for
2 seconds.
The values for the reference point and the stroke
length saved in the DADE-MVC will be deleted.
2. Reset the two inputs again.
6.2 Analogue output
In the event of a fault or if the system has not been
calibrated, the analogue output is at 0 V or 0 mA.
Special case stroke fault:
If the calibration point is exceeded: 10 V or 20 mA.
If the reference point is exceeded: 0 V or 4 mA.
6.3 Calculation examples
The length x of a work item is to be defined. The work
stroke is 200 mm and the voltage shown is 9.2 V.

The evaluation accuracy of a PLC is to be defined
approximately. The work stroke is 620 mm and the
resolution of the analogue input is 12 bits.
620 mm / 2
This means that the position of a work item can be
defined here exactly to within 0.15 mm.
