Fitting instructions
1)
Permanently remove the towing ring. Remove the spare wheel in case there is one. Disassemble the
bumper and permanently remove the metal buffer beams of the vehicle.
2)
Place the tow bar with points (A) between the chassis beams till these points match the provided holes in
the side of the chassis beams, place the contra plate through the outside of the chassis beams together with
the bolts and washers but do not tighten yet.
3)
Points (B) match the provided screw-thread holes in the underside of the cross-beam, insert here also the
bolts with washers and tighten everything firmly (see tension).
4)
Make an incision in the underside of the bumper according to drawing, re-assemble the bumper on the
vehicle.
5)
Assemble the towball (fig.2) together with the towing ring and the socket plate, insert the bolts and
tighten everything firmly.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
