Installation
1. Slide the side
panels over
the flanges on
each side of the
appliance opening
with the flange's
fixing hole on the
top. Fix each panel
to the flange with
one screw at the
top.
2. Slide the top panel
over the flange
of the top of the
appliance opening.
Fix the panel to the
top flange with two
screws.
3. Slide the appliance
into the framing
until the bottom
front edge of the
appliance is flush
with the framing
support it sits on.
The kit's side and
top panels should
overlap the framing
studs. Fix them to
the framing with 10
wood screws.

4. Fix the kit's bottom
panel to the
framing on each
side and under
the appliance's
opening with 7
wood screws.
5. Fix the top, sides,
and bottom pieces
of cement board
to the front of the
appliance case
with 14 screws
provided.
6. Continue with
the fireplace
installation as per
instructions in the
installation manual.
Note: Do not
install the window
at this point so it
is easier to fit the plinth.
7. Once the batteries
have been inserted
into the receiver,
before installing the
window, slide the
plinth just behind
the bottom panel
installed in
step 4.
Note: There are
two straight vertical
tabs at the front
bottom of the
plinth. They must
fit between the
appliance's bottom
edge and the bottom panel.
8. Install the window.
