• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• Do not override or interrupt or modify any protective and safety devices of the machine.
• Never operate the machine if the On/Off switch is faulty or not functioning.

3.3- Special warnings when using this product
• Only use the product outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Never start or run the engine in an
enclosed area. The exhaust emissions may contain toxic carbon monoxide (CO), which may
cause serious injury or death.
• Plan your work and allow plenty of time for rest.
• Continual and regular users should monitor closely the condition of their hands and fingers.
Prolong exposure to vibration could result in whitefinger disease (Raynaud's phenomenon) or
carpal tunnel syndrome. If any of the above symptoms appear, seek medical advice
immediately.
• The engine silencer and cylinder become hot and can cause a burn. Do not touch.
• A certain level of noise emission from the machine cannot be avoided. Schedule noisy works
in accordance with local legislation and at specific times (seek advice from your local
municipality).
