Scope of supply
• aluminium frame with 380 mm extension
• one base body
• mechanical angle reading device (complete)
• bending die (H = 120 mm)
• roller supports

Commissioning
In order to start the conductor rail bending and punching unit and the hydraulic pump, the unit has to be first
aligned and then connected to the hydraulic unit with the quick-couplings.
The base frame can be aligned by turning the feet (6) so that it is both longitudinally and transversely in a level
position.
The rack should also be aligned.
Adjusting the longitudinal stop
• Place base body (50) in the base frame
• Set the longitudinal stop as deeply as that the stop can be struck on the side of the base body.
• Place the length stop angled at the basic unit. The dimension 49 mm needs to hit the red marked angle. This
can be done by moving the stop screw. Therefore the hex-nut M8 must be loosened.
• Tighten the M8 hex-nut again.
Bending
• Insert the angle reading device with indicator into the hole in the base body.
• The two height adjustable supporting brackets (42/43) should be set so that bending takes place in the dead
centre.
• The tape measure (45) is so located that the position can be directly set. The reference edge is the edge of the
focus ring. This means with an 80 mm rail the supporting bracket should be set to 40 mm. In order to make this
easier the provided rings have to be attached and eventually have to be fixed with a 6-sides right angle
screwdriver.
Always bend conductor rails exactly in the middle otherwise there is danger of damaging the
tools and the base body.
• When bending short legs the right supporting bracket is removed and placed on the left, next to the base body.
• A trailing pointer is provided for finding the bending angle. The angle can be read directly from the scale plate.
The angle reading device trailing pointer has to be set to the starting position after the
conductor rail has been inserted (the needle is at 0° ).
Three red warning rings are engraved on the piston. Never move the stamp past the third ring.
