1.3.1 Body A
The body is made of aluminium alloy and houses all the other components.
1.3.2 Horizontal arm B
The horizontal arm, or opening lever, is made of aluminium alloy, with a stainless steel
anti-wear insert.
1.3.3 Release button C
The mushroom part of the release button is made of aluminium (usually anodised
red), whereas the pin that activates the release is made of tempered, galvanised mild
steel, as are all the components of the internal mechanism.
1.3.4 Safety clip D
The safety clip is made of galvanised mild steel.
1.3.5 Anchoring bracket E
The anchoring bracket is made of high strength aluminium alloy, and comes in three
versions:
- 881.01 fixed bracket with 19 mm opening
- 881.02 opening bracket with 50 mm opening
- 881.03 fixed bracket with 50 mm opening
