You can measure the signal strength of the device with
a measuring device (BAMO tester). If you would like to
use a BAMO tester, you can obtain it from SimonsVoss
Technologies GmbH with the article number
WN.TESTER.BAMO.EU/WN.TESTER.BAMO.US or
SI.GN.TESTER.BAMO.EU. The exact procedure is
described in the manual of the BAMO tester.
NOTE
Measurement errors due to structural changes
Structural changes and other wireless devices influ-
ence the WaveNet wireless network. If the WaveNet
radio network is measured before other components
are installed, the measurement results may sub-
sequently be falsified.
1. Do not carry out measurements in the unfinished
building, but in the finished condition (including po-
tential sources of interference).
2. If in doubt, plan for reserves.
If you want to operate the devices safely, you should at
least measure the following signal strengths:
First measurement: 70% to 100%.
Second measurement: 80% to 100%.
The device itself is maintenance-free. However, the
performance of radio networks will always depend on
environmental influences. These influences can
change and affect the performance of your radio
