Intended use
Ceramill A-Splint is suitable for the fabrication of removable occlusal
splints.
Product description
Ceramill A-Splint are milling blanks for the production of splints
(occlusal splints). The maximum wearing period is one year.
Clinical benefit of the product depending on the therapy/treatment
method:
_ Relaxation of the jaw muscles
_ Restoration of the vertical dimension of occlusion
_ Relief of the jaw joint
_ (Re)Positioning of the jaw joint
_ Restoration of the craniomandibular jaw relationship
_ Relief from pain
_ Restoration of the chewing function
Follow-up examination at the dentist's:
It is recommended to check the therapeutic splint in the
patient's mouth once a month, depending on the therapy/
treatment method. At the examination, the remaining denti-
tion, the antagonists and the soft tissue are also to be
inspected. Corrections/adjustments should be made as
needed. It is recommended to polish the splint afterwards.
