This operation manual is applicable for the hand tool WIG
10.
The hand tool may only be handled by personnel
who are qualified.
It is imperative that you observe the safety instruc-
tions provided separately for the drive.

se Of the mAchine fOr purpOses fOr
which it is intended
The hand tool is designed intended for the pur-
pose of cutting, roughing and brushing of metal
and stone materials without the use of water.
The hand tool may only be operated with the safety
guards and the additional handle fitted!
For cutting, always work with the safety guard for cutting.
Available on request.

All uses other than those described under section
1.2 are regarded as incorrect use and are there-
fore not admissible.

The manufacturer Otto Suhner GmbH of Trottäcker 50,
D-79713 Bad Säckingen, hereby declares for the partly
completed machinery (see reverse side for type and se-
rial no.) that the following fundamental requirements of
the Directive 2006/42/EC are applied and fulfilled in ac-
cordance with Annex I: 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.5, 1.2.1, 1.2.2, 1.3.7,
1.3.8.1, 1.5.1, 1.5.4, and 1.6.1. Technical documentation
was generated for the partly completed machinery in ac-
cordance with Annex VII of the Machinery Directive. Docu-
ment Agent: T. Fischer. Authorised sites are provided with
this technical documentation in paper or electronic form
on justified request. This partly completed machinery may
be put into operation only when the machine in which the
partly completed machinery is to be incorporated has
been ascertained to fulfil the conditions under the Ma-

Use only hand tools, shafts, and grinding tools in perfect

It is imperative that you
read Sections 2 and 3 be-
fore you start operating the
condition.
Attach the hand tool to the shaft only when the drive is
switched off and has come to a stop.
Connect grinding tools only when the drive is switched off
and has come to a stop.
It is imperative that you use the guards intended for the
hand tool.
Observe the specifications applying to your country.

Press the locking button and insert the hose coupling into
the hand tool hole. Make sure that the locking button is
engaged.
Follow these instructions in reverse order to detach the
hand tool.

detAching the sAfety guArd
The safety guard was already correctly adjusted in the
factory. With this adjustment it can be brought into the
desired working position, or removed.
When the pressure point is overcome the protective guard
must rotate and snap in again without the use of exces-
sive force. Otherwise, either the protective guard has to be
readjusted or the locking mechanism has to be cleaned.
