enerAl notes on sAfety
This operation manual is applicable for the machine UWG
10-R125. The machine may only be handled by personnel
who are qualified.
Hold power tools by insulated gripping surfaces when
performing an operation where the cutting tool may con-
tact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a «live»
wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool «live» and
shock the operator.
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all in-
structions. Failure to follow the warnings and in-
structions may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future refer-
ence.

which it is intended
The machine is intended for the purpose of cutting, rough-
ing and brushing of metal and stone materials without the
use of water.

All uses other than those described under section
1.2 are regarded as incorrect use and are there-
fore not admissible.

rior to tAKing the mAchine into serVice
Before connecting tool to a power
source, be sure the voltage sup-
plied is the same as specified on
the name plate of the tool.
The power supply should not vary more than 10% above
or below the voltage indicated on the nameplate.
Check grinding tool prior to use. The grinding tool must
be mounted centrally and positioned against the limit
stop. The maximum allowable speed of the tool and of the

chuck may not be exceeded under any circumstances.
Observe national regulations. Fit hand protection. Take
protective measures when dust can develop during work-
ing that is harmful to one's health, cumbustible or explo-
sive. Wear a dust mask and work with dust/chip extraction
when connectable.

The switch must be at the OFF position, i.e. the «0» is
visible. To switch ON the tool, press the switch, and push
it forwards until it engages audibly, i.e. the «1» becomes
bisible. Press the ON/OFF swith to trigger the blocking
and the machine shuts down.
