• The USB port on the DM30b meter can only be used for battery
recharge. It does not have the function of data transmission.

Battery Recharge
Your meter comes with a built-in rechargeable Li-polymer battery.
To optimize battery life, it is advisable to recharge the battery
when the low battery symbol "
Important!
• It is absolutely necessary that the battery is fully recharged
every 4 months when not in use to ensure the longevity of
the battery. The battery may not be rechargeable if it is not
recharged within a period of 4 months.
• To avoid a possible shock, Do NOT insert a test strip while the
battery is charging.
• You must charge the battery immediately and reset the date
and time when the battery power is extremely low and "
" (u) appears on the screen. The meter cannot be turned on.
The meter battery may be charged using one of the following
options:
• USB cable (computer charging station)
• USB cable with an AC adapter (wall charging station) Both the
USB cable and AC adapter are included in your kit.

Caring for Your Device
• To clean the exterior of the device, wipe it with a cloth
moistened with tap water or a mild cleaning agent, then dry the
device with a soft dry cloth. Do NOT rinse with water.
• Do NOT use organic solvents to clean the device.
