Now cut the blue and yellow wire that is connected to the licence plate illuminator about 50mm
from the end, before stripping the ends and fitting the bullet connectors supplied with the R&G
licence plate illuminator (item 6 – LA0002).

Take the correct indicator for the side of the bike and locate the mounting prong and twist into
position. Re-fit the original nut and bolt before tightening. Do this for both indicators.

Feed the wiring through the mounting hole in the correct indicator body as removed and re-fit to
the connectors, before securing the wiring neatly together with the cable ties & self-adhesive cable
clips supplied.

Re-fit the lens and screw on both indicators.

There should be one blue and one yellow wire remaining free from the white connector. These can
be connected to the licence plate illuminator, with the blue wire on the loom connecting to the
black wire on the licence plate illuminator and the yellow wire on the loom connecting to the red
wire on the licence plate illuminator.

Take the rubber bung (item 2 – RB0002) and position in the square cut-out hole on the underside
of the tail unit, as shown in picture 15.

Offer the tail tidy assembly into place and re-fit the original rearward bolt through the tail tidy and
securely into the mounting hole on the tail, as shown in picture 16.

Re-fit the two remaining bolts through the two forward mounting holes and re-fit the washer and
nuts inside the rear seat unit, as shown in picture 17, before tightening.

Feed the wiring connector and wires though the rubber bung and into the tail unit, before re-
connecting to its matching connector, as shown in picture 17.

It is advisable at this stage to check for the correct operation of all lights. (if illumination fails on
any LED light, try swapping the connectors around).

Re-fit the rubber mounted electrical box onto its plastic prongs, as shown in picture 18.

Ensure the tail tidy is securely mounted and all bolts are fully tightened.

Re-fit the licence plate (it may require drilling).

Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector in an appropriate location.

Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.
