Read the operating instructions attentively and particularly observe the safety notes. If the
safety notes and the information in these operating instructions regarding proper handling are
not observed, we assume no liability for any resulting injury/property damage. In such cases, the
warranty/guarantee will also lapse.
• The device is designed according to protection class I. The only permissible voltage source is a proper
grounded mains socket (100-240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz) of the public mains.
• The mains socket must be close to the device and easily accessible.
• Anyone operating, installing, setting up, commissioning or servicing this effect light must be trained and
qualified properly and observe these operating instructions.
• Never look straight into the light source during operation. The bright light flashes may temporarily impair
your eyesight. Apart from this, epileptic fits may be triggered under certain circumstances in persons
sensitive to such lights. This particularly applies to epileptics.
• LED radiation may be dangerous if the LED beam or a reflection enters the unprotected eye. Therefore,
familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations and measures of precaution for the operation of this kind
of LED device before using the device.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of potentially fatal electric shock!
• Do not touch the mains cable if it is damaged. First, power down the respective mains socket on all
poles (e.g. via the respective circuit breaker and FI switch) and then carefully pull the mains plug from
the mains socket. Separate the mains cable from the device and replace it. Never use the product if the
mains cable is damaged.
• When mounting the product, make sure that the power cord is neither jammed nor damaged by sharp
edges.
• Never place containers containing liquids, e.g. glasses, buckets, vases or plants on the device or in its
vicinity. Liquids may get into the housing and impair electrical safety. This also poses great danger of fire
or potentially fatal electric shock! If this is the case, first power down the respective mains socket on all
poles (e.g. switch off circuit breaker and FI switch) and then pull the mains cable from the socket. Do not
operate the product anymore afterwards, but take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not place any open sources of fire, such as burning candles, on or directly next to the device.
• Never operate the device unattended.
• Only operate the device in moderate climates, never in tropical climates.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures direct sunlight, high humidity, moisture, flammable gases,
vapours and solvents.
• Do not subject the product to heavy mechanical stress.
• Handle the product with care. Impact, blows or falls from even a low height will damage the product.
