Stage 5.2 – Superstructure mast / roof
- Separate the parts required from the machine-cut sheet
"B".
- Drill holes in the vacuum-moulded part 5.28 at the stated
points. Mark the outer 3 mm Ø holes from the machine-cut
part 5.6, holding the roof "as far forward" as possible.
- Glue the navigation lamps to the lamp brackets 5.29 - 5.31.
- Glue the single lamp 5.31 concentrically in the hole in the
superstructure plate 5.1.
- Glue the foghorns and searchlights 5.32 – 5.36 in place.
- Place the completed roof on the superstructure.
Note: please ensure that there is a small clearance bet-
ween the tubes 5.37, 5.50 and 5.52 and the rear edge of
the roof.
- Seal the top end of the tubular mast 5.37 with parts 5.38 –
5.40.
- Attach the triangular reinforcement 5.42 to the radar bearer
5.41, slide it onto the tubular mast from the bottom (spa-
cing 150 mm), and glue it at right-angles to part 5.39.
- Assemble the radar unit from parts 5.43 – 5.46. Make the
shaft 5.45 from a 10 mm length of 1 mm Ø brass rod.
- Prepare two aerials 5.48 from 1 mm Ø brass rod as shown
in the drawing, and solder or glue the tubular rivet 5.47 to
the bottom edge.
- Insert the aerials in the outer holes of the radar bearer.
- Tie part 5.49 (thread, supplied in the kit) between parts
5.39 and 5.41.
- Insert the complete mast and the dummy parts 5.50 – 5.53
in the supports 5.20.
- Glue the liferaft components 5.54 and 5.55 to the plate 5.1
as shown.
- Position the lifebelts 5.56 on the side panels in such a way
that they cover the gap in the machine-cut sheets.

Superstructure mât/toit
- Détachez les éléments nécessaires de la plaque fraisée
"B".
- Percer l'élément embouti 5.28 comme indiqué. Reportez
les alésages externes de Ø3 mm de l'élément fraisé 5.6.
Maintenir le toit autant que possible le plus loin „vers
l'avant".
- Collez les deux de position avec les étagères 5.29-5.31.
- Collez la lampe individuellement 5.31 de manière concen-
trique par rapport à l'alésage dans la plaque de superstruc-
ture 5.1.
- Collez les cornes de brume et le projecteur de recherche
5.32 à 5.36.
- Installez le toit entièrement préassemblé sur la superstruc-
ture.
À noter : veillez svp à ce que les tubes 5.37, 5.50, 5,52
disposent d'un certain écart par rapport à l'arête arrière du
toit.
- Fermez le tube de mât 5.37 en haut avec les éléments
5.38 à 5.40.
- Munir le porte-radar 5.41 du renfort triangulaire 5.42,
glissez-le par-dessous sur le tube de mât (cote 150 mm)
et collez-le avec un certain angle par rapport à 5.39.
- Assemblez le radar 5.43 à 5.46. Pour l'arbre 5.45 coupez
un morceau de fil de laiton Ø1 x 10mm.
- Réalisez 2x une antenne à partie de 5.48 fil de laiton de
Ø1mm selon les indications du schéma et la munir à l'arête
inférieure du rivet 5.47 (braser / coller).
- Installez les antennes dans les alésages extérieurs du
porte-radar.
- Nouez 5.49 réalisé à partir du fil joint comme indiqué entre
5.39 et 5.41.
- Installez le mât complet avec les éléments factices 5.50 à
5.53 dans les supports 5.20.
- Collez les éléments de radeau de sauvetage 5.54 et 5.55
comme indiqué sur la plaque 5.1.
- Positionnez les bouées de sauvetage 5.56 su les montants
latéraux de manière à couvrir le joint des plaques fraisées.

Fase di montaggio 5.2 –
Montaggio albero/tetto
- Staccare i pezzi dalla piastra "B".
- Forare il pezzo prestampato 5.28 come indicato. Utilizzare
i fori esterni da Ø3mm del pezzo fresato 5.6. Arrestare il
tetto il più possibile "in avanti".
- Incollare le lampade di posizioni alla tavola luci 5.29-5.31.
- Incollare la lampada singola 5.31 in modo che sia concen-
trica rispetto al foro sulla piastra di montaggio 5.1.
- Incollare il corno antinebbia e il proiettore orientabile 5.32
- 5.36.
- Posizionare il tetto montato sulla struttura.
Consiglio: badare che i tubi 5.37, 5.50, 5.52 lascino dello
spazio sul bordo posteriore del tetto.
- Chiudere il tubo dell'albero 5.37 con i pezzi 5.38 - 5.40.
- Assemblare il supporto radar 5.41 con il rinforzo triango-
lare 5.42, inserirlo dal basso sul tubo dell'albero (150 mm)
allinearlo ad angolo rispetto a 5.39 e incollare.
- Montare l'impianto radar 5.43 – 5.46. Tagliare un pezzo di
filo in ottone Ø1x10mm come albero 5.45.
- Realizzare, come da figura, 2 antenne 5.48 da un filo di
ottone da Ø1mm montare il rivetto tubolare 5.47 (saldare /
incollare) al bordo inferiore.
- Inserire le antenne nei fori esterni del supporto del radar.
- Creare un nodo 5.49 tra 5.39 e 5.41 con il filo intrecciato in
dotazione
- Montare l'albero e le imitazioni 5.50 -5.53 nel supporto
5.20.
- Incollare i pezzi della zattera di salvataggio 5.54 e 5.55
sulla piastra 5.1 come da rappresentazione.
- Posizionare i salvagenti 5.56 sulla parte laterale in modo
da coprire la fessura delle piastre fresate.
