Hopping mode:
We recommend Mode 4 for use in Germany. Hopping Modes 2 and 3 are no longer available with the tiFS
system. To set the Hopping Mode, press the rotary control briefl y, and the value will be displayed in inverse
form. Turn the rotary control to select one of the modes 1, 4 or 5, then press the rotary control again to save
the set value. The value is now displayed again in normal form to confi rm your selection.
Caution: in Hopping Mode 1 the telemetry function is not active.

2.2. Fail Safe settings:
At this point you can defi ne the fail-safe settings for all channels. The two options are a pre-selected position
(Pos) or "hold mode" for the last position.

fail-safe response time to any value in the range 1 to 5 seconds by repeatedly pressing the rotary control.

the receiver glows green.
Switch the receiver off and on again, and your Graupner|tiFS system is ready for use.
If you forget to set the receiver to programming mode, you will see the message "Receiver not in program-
ming mode", and it will be impossible to carry out the save process.
WARNING: after any changes at the Fail-Safe screen you must always save the fail-safe settings (receiver
in programming mode), otherwise the transmitter screen will no longer display the active setting!

The telemetry cycle is the time inter-
val which defi nes how frequently the
telemetry signals are sent back to the
transmitter.
If you wish to adjust the telemetry cycle,
the receiver must fi rst be set to pro-
gramming mode by holding the BIND
button on the receiver pressed in while
you switch the unit on → the STATUS
LED glows red.
Press the rotary control to save the va-
lue → the STATUS LED on the receiver
glows green. Switch the receiver off and
on again, and your Graupner|tiFS sys-
tem is ready for use.
