Binding:
This menu point can be used as a convenient method of binding the receiver.
Switch the Graupner|iFS receiver on, and wait until the STATUS LED fl ashes red. Hold the programming
button pressed in until the LED goes out, and then glows green. Release the button at this point. The
STATUS LED will fl ash orange, indicating that the receiver is now waiting to be bound to a Graupner|tiFS
transmitter.
Select the menu point "Bind", and press the rotary control to initiate the binding process. All STATUS LEDs
switch simultaneously to green when the binding procedure is successfully completed.
If one STATUS LED does not light up green, the whole procedure must be repeated.
You must now switch off the transmitter and all receivers before switching them on again.
Caution: if you accidentally switch on binding mode at the transmitter whilst operating a model, the currently
active binding with the receiver will be lost. If this should happen, switch the transmitter off briefl y, and then
on again: this re-activates the receiver, and you will regain control of the model.
Reception quality:
Indicates the signal strength of the downlink channel with a value in the range 1 to 9. The higher the value,
the better the reception performance.
Receiver battery warning:
At this point you can set a warning threshold for the receiver battery voltage in the range 4.3 to 9.9 V. When
the voltage falls to the set value, an audible alarm is triggered at the transmitter, enabling you to land your
model and cease operations in good time. To set the warning threshold, press the rotary control briefl y, and
the value will be displayed in inverse form (dark background). Turn the rotary control to adjust the voltage,
then press the rotary control again to save the set value. The value is now displayed again in normal form
to confi rm your selection.
Output power:
It is possible to adjust the transmitter's output power. For normal operations the maximum value of 5 should
always be set, but the output can safely be reduced for indoor fl ying. To adjust output power, press the rotary
