CMS-TS 75
– Do not remove loose splinters, chips and similar
parts on the workpiece by hand from the area
around the rotating saw blade.
– Do not use the work bench outdoors in the rain.
– Do not saw "freehand", i.e. guide the workpiece
by hand without a stop or ruler.
– Prior to initial operation, make sure that the por-
table circular saw is secured correctly in the re-
taining panel and that this is attached to the
CMS-GE properly.
– Always make sure the protective cover is secured
properly before operating the CMS-TS 75.
– Use the push stick to guide the workpiece safely
past the saw blade.
– Support long workpieces at the removal end.
– The tabletop should not be damaged in any way
(e.g. cuts around the saw opening). Replace the
tabletop immediately, if damaged.
– Do not use the CMS-TS 75 to cut firewood.
– Secure round timber on either side of the saw
blade to prevent it from turning.
– Avoid overloading the portable circular saw.
– Wear suitable protection: such as ear protec-
tion, safety goggles, a dust mask for work which
generates dust, and protective gloves when
working with raw materials and when changing
tools.

Other risks

In spite of compliance with all relevant design reg-
ulations, dangers may still present themselves
when the machine is operated, e.g.:
– Workpiece parts being thrown off,
– Parts of damaged tools being thrown off,
– Noise emissions,
– Dust emissions.

Assembly

Always pull the mains plug out of the socket be-
fore performing any type of work on the ma-
chine!
The following section describes the process of in-
stalling the portable circular saw in the retaining
panel and the basic unit CMS-GE. Removal is per-
formed in reverse sequence to installation.

Replace the spacer wedge on your portable circular
saw with the protective cover mounting bracket.

Move lever [2-2] as far as it will go,
Push switch lock [2-1] up and push sawing unit
down until it locks into place,
Loosen screw [2-5] with Allen key [2-3],
Withdraw spacer wedge [2-4] downwards,
Thread in protective cover carrier with the elon-
gated hole under the screw [2-5] until it engag-
es in position.
The distance between the protective cover
mounting bracket and the saw blade must
be between 2 mm and 3 mm.
Tighten screw [2-5].
Put lever [2-2] back.
Installing the cutting depth adjuster
Adjust the cutting depth stop on the portable
circular saw [3-1] to approx. 30 mm.
Remove the screw [3-2] from the cutting depth
adjuster.
Slide the cutting depth adjuster over the addi-
tional handle on the portable circular saw, as
shown in Fig. [4].
Adjust the cutting depth stop on the portable
circular saw [3-1] to 75 mm.
Push the circular saw downwards until the cut-
ting depth adjuster rests on the circular saw.
Tighten the screw in the cutting depth adjuster
to secure to the portable circular saw base [3-2]
+ [5-1].
Set the cutting depth stop on the portable circu-
lar saw to the maximum cutting depth.
Installing the portable circular saw in
the retaining panel [1-1]
Turn the saw retainer over and position in the
opening on the CMS-GE.
Unscrew the rotary knobs on both retainers [6-
2] + [6-5].
Slide the movable retainer [6-2] as far outwards
as possible.
Insert the portable circular so that the protec-
tive cover mounting bracket passes through the
saw opening on the retaining panel and the por-
table circular saw base rests on the fixed clamp
[6-5].
Adjust both jaws [6-4] until the portable circular
saw is sitting on the guide groove [6-3] on the
retaining panel and there is no play.
