1. About this manual
This information applies to the Asco-
therm ® eco trench convectors KC261/KC461
that are delivered ex factory with EC cross-
flow fans and without other electrical compo-
nents (voltage transformers and closed loop
control components in particular).
It includes the technical specifications for the
fans in order to integrate them into an exter-
nal open/closed loop control system. Pass the
manual on to every new owner, operator, or
user. Before use and before starting any work,
this manual must be read carefully and under-
stood. A basic prerequisite for working safely
is adhering to all safety and handling instruc-
tions provided in this manual. Apart from that,
the local accident prevention regulations ap-
ply. Technical specifications subject to change!

1.2 Permitted use

Components of the Ascotherm
technology may only be used:

in conjunction with Ascotherm
floor convectors
W
for controlling the heating and/or cooling
mode of the fan coils
W
in indoor areas (e.g. residential, commerci-
al, exhibition areas).
The product may only be assembled, installed,
and operated as described in this manual. All
instructions in this manual must be observed.
1.3 Impermissible use
Any other use is contrary to the intended
purpose and therefore not permissible. The
operator will bear sole responsibility for any
damages resulting from this, the warranty
provided by the manufacturer will be void. If
there is a damage to the product, it must no
longer be operated. Unauthorized changes
and modifications are not allowed. Factory
markings on the product may not be removed,
changed, or made illegible.

or also being supplied/designated.

Dispose of the unit in the separate collection

with local regulations.
