9. Operation
a) Connection
• Connect the corresponding plug of the enclosed plug-in mains adapter of the enclosed plug-in
mains adapter to the low-voltage round socket (10).
Then plug the plug-in mains adapter into a proper mains socket.
• All display segments appear briefly and the display lighting is activated. All display segments
disappear again afterwards.
If no rechargeable battery is inserted, the display lighting foes out again automatically after a
few seconds. The charger is the in standby mode; it is ready for operation.
If no rechargeable battery is inserted into one of the 4 charging chutes, no operating
function is available!
Pushing of a button leads to the display lighting being activated. No displays are
shown.
b) Insert Rechargeable Batteries, Start Programme
• Insert an NiMH or NiCd rechargeable battery (AA/mignon or AAA/micro) into any charging chute
(1....4). The upper contact sin the charging chute are specified for AA/mignon rechargeable
batteries, the lower ones for AAA/micro rechargeable batteries.
AA/Mignon
• When a rechargeable battery was recognised, „CHARGE" flashes in the display.
