Children must not use the packaging as a plaything. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be carried out by children un-
less they are 8 years or older and are supervised.

∙ The appliance must not be operated using a timer or a separate
remote system!
∙ Do not place on unstable surfaces.
∙ Do not heat the pot empty or overheat it.

Attention:
The glass surface could show residual heat from hea-
ted pots.
∙ Never use the appliance, if the cable or the glass plate is dama-
ged, cracked or dropped down.
∙ Never put pots, set of cutlery or any other metallic parts on the
appliance. These parts could get very hot, when the cooker is
turned on.
∙
To avoid any dangers, never change anything at the appli-
ance or conduct any repair. Repairs and exchange of the
power cord must only be done by an authorized dealer.
∙ Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid (Dan-
ger of electric shock!). Protect the appliance from getting wet.
∙ If an extension cord is needed, makes sure it is suitable for the
appliance. Unwind cable drums completely.
∙ Never carry, when there are still pots or pans on it.
∙ Never put more than 5 kg on the top of the plate. The glass sur-
face could show residual heat from the heated pots.
∙ Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side
and either right or left side of the unit clear.
∙ Never use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (viny1) or any other
low-heat-resistant article.
∙ Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and
the unit. The paper may get burnt.
