INSTALLATION

3.1 BABY UNIT: (CAMERA)
Power Adapter:
1. Connect one of the included 6V power adapters into the power outlet 6V DC located at the back
of the baby unit. You can choose either the long (3m) or short (1.8m) power cord.
2. Plug the adapter into a 230V electrical outlet.
Use only the supplied power adapter.
Make sure that the baby cannot touch the baby unit or
the power cord. Place the baby unit at least 2 meters
away from the baby and tie up any long wires with tape or
special wire ties.
Table model or wall model option:
Place the baby unit in a convenient location e.g. on a table, cabinet, desk or mounted up on the
wall.
For wall mounting:
Drill two holes next to each other, separated by a distance of 2.1cm in the wall, then insert the plugs
and the screws. Allow the head of the screw to stand out a few millimetres. Attach the baby unit by
sliding the gaps for the screws situated at the base of the unit onto the screws. Adjust the baby unit
by gently tilting it downwards. Ensure that the power cord is put safely out of the way.
Installation tips:
• Place the baby unit at a minimum distance of 2 meters from your baby and make sure that the
power cord is safely out of reach.
• The temperature sensor of the baby unit is located at the back of unit. Ensure that the sensor is
not blocked and not under direct heat from the sun and/or light bulbs.
• For optimal range, it is preferable to set the baby unit as high as possible and away from large
metal objects.
• The baby unit is not waterproof and is therefore only suitable for indoor use. If used outdoors,
protect the baby unit from moisture and sand.
