6. CONNECTION TO THE ELECTRICAL NETWORK

6.1. The connection of the container to the electrical network must be of a permanent
design.
It is forbidden to use of a mains socket!
6.2. Cable connection must be implemented from the water heater to the isola-
tion switch, which must be incorporated in the fixed wire network. The overcur-
rent protection of the isolation switch must be ensured using a miniature circuit
breaker.
Mains supply must be ensured for the tank via a two-pole switch of overvoltage

Installation order:

Step 1: When connecting, remove the caps from the bottom plate (12.1.a). The
holes on the casing (12.2.a) allow to remove the bottom plate by loosening the
screws. After loosening and removing the screws (12.1.b), remove the cover by
gently pushing it backwards (12.1.c). This will expose the electrical assemblies.
Step 2: You can thread the connecting wire through one of the "large" cable
entries (left or right aligned) located on the back plate (12.3.a) by cross cutting
the membrane.
Step 3: Lead the mains cable through the cable driver (13.2.a) and the wire clamp
(12.3.b). Do not tighten the wire clamp at this stage.
Step 4: The mains cable can be threaded through the factory cut „small" plastic
cable driver (12.3.c,).
Step 5: Connect the bare wire ends to the serial terminal observing the phase
labelling – (12.3.d) L (brown), N (blue) (12.3.d) –, and thread the bare green &
yellow end under the earthing washer on the earthing bolt (12.3.f), fixing it with
the spring washer and nut.
Step 6: After connection, the cable must be protected against pulling by
tightening the wire clamp (12.3.b). Route the mains cable through the twisted
cable tie clip. (12.3.e)
Step 7: Mount the bottom plate (12.1.c) using the four screws (12.1.b) and clamp
the plastic caps (12.1.a) in the holes.

6.6.
The cover (bottom plate) of electrical assemblies provides adequate protection
against accidental touching of powered parts during operation.
Connect the appliance phase aligned to the electrical network, in line with the
