programme lights up.

Motorcycle ALU Programme
Proceed as follows to balance motorcycle wheels
dynamically using adhesive weights:
- Press the
button twice to select "Mo-
torcycle Alu" programme (the corresponding
balancing planes are highlighted on the rim
shown on the LCD display).
- Proceed as described previously for the "Mo-
torcycle Dynamic" programme.
- For the application of the adhesive weight, use
6 o'clock as a reference if the "LAS" configura-
tion is active or 12 o'clock if the "H12" or "CLP"
configuration is active.
Best results can be achieved if the adhesive
weights are positioned with the outer edge
flush with the rim edge.
Split Weight Programme
Some rims have spokes so wide that it is not
possible to place adhesive weights next to them;
a programme which divides the counterweights
into two parts has been introduced to solve this
problem.
In this case, when the centred position is reached
and it becomes obvious that the balancing weight
will have to be applied in line with a spoke,
proceed as follows:
- remain in the centred position;
- Press the
button.
- Use the
spoke width:
o 1 = small
o 2 = medium
o 3 = large
o OFF = deactivates the programme;

FLASH OPT
OPTIMISATION
PROGRAMME
This procedure reduces the possible vibrations
still present in running vehicles after an accurate
balancing.
The programme can be recalled any time the
operator, according to his/her own experience,
believes it is advisable to minimise the running
noise level due to the vibrations stated above or
when the machine suggests that the programme
be executed by displaying the
with the blinking triangle (this function can be
deactivated by accessing the service programme
no.102) in the suggested function area.
The calculations performed by this programme
are based on the unbalance values measured dur-
ing the last spin performed which must therefore
refer to the wheel being serviced.
Proceed as follows to recall this programme:
- Press the
button to access the pro-
gramme menu.
- Use the
cursor.
- Select the
programme icon.
- Press the
button to confirm programme
selection.
OP.1 PHASE
