As a geometric value is displayed, the corre-
sponding indicator on the LCD display lights up.
- Check the values measured and then return
the arm to the rest position.
- If an incorrect value has been acquired during
the measurement phase, move the arms to the
rest position and then repeat the operation.
Manual wheel data entry
In the event of failure of the automatic measuring
system, all geometric data can be entered using
the keypad:
- Press the button
- Measure the width of the rim using the calliper
provided (fig.17);
- Modify the displayed width value by pressing
the
button to increase or de-
crease the value until the desired number is
obtained. The width can be set in millimetres
or the values already set can be converted from
inches to millimetres by pressing the
button;
- Press the
button to confirm the previous
value and set the machine for diameter data
entry;
- Read the rated rim diameter value on the tyre;
- Modify the displayed diameter value by press-
ing the

- Measure the distance between the body and

WHEEL CLAMPING
SYSTEM C
Wheel locking procedure with the automatic
system C:
Centring with cone at front
- Fit the wheel on the shaft, sliding it into place
until it rests against the flange.
- Fit the most suitable cone on the shaft and
insert it into the central hole of the wheel.
- Fit the locking device by making it slide on the
hub until it comes into contact with the cone.
- Hold the control pedal down until the wheel
is completely locked against the flange.
Centring with cone at rear
- Fit the most suitable cone for the central hole
of the wheel on the shaft.
- Fit the wheel onto the cone, sliding it into place
until the cone comes into contact with the plate
that holds the spring.
- Apply the protective cap to the sleeve.
- Fit the locking device by making it slide on the
hub until it comes into contact with the wheel.
- Hold the control pedal down until the wheel
is completely locked against the flange.
Wheel release
- Press the control pedal for at least one second
to release the wheel from the flange.
Centring with flanges
C hub removal
- Keep the
